There are traditions that aren’t just told, they’re lived
The Regata Storica is one of the most authentic expressions of Venetian culture: an afternoon on the Grand Canal where the procession of historic boats and the Venetian rowing races bring memories, pride, and team spirit back to the water.
After sponsoring the orange “Caorlina” (last year’s regatta winner) the Serandrei family has chosen to renew its support for the lagoon’s premier sport. A bond that is renewed in the spirit of a deeply Venetian tradition.
The Saturnia and the Caorlina Canarin
For the 2026 edition, the Saturnia sponsored the Caorlina Canarin, which was awarded the blue flag and finished fourth at the end of the competition, thanks to a close-knit crew comprising Roberto Busetto, Renato Busetto, Fabio Donà, Michele Ghezzo, Mattia Baldin and Andrea Rosin.
Our thanks go to Remiera Casteo for their daily work, passion and dedication in keeping the tradition of Venetian rowing alive.
And thank you to the Caorlina Canarin for allowing us, once again this year, to be part of this very special day for Venice.
